Obituary: Anthony (Tony) John Prater 3 November 1943–24 August 2025

Tony was an entertaining companion, convivial and enthusiastic with colleagues and friends in pursuit of common goals, and never short of an extravagantly warm greeting or a sharply witty comment. He leaves a legacy of the amazing wild places he managed to defend for future generations, and a framework for such work to continue.
