Black-tailed Godwit is now the National Bird of the Netherlands, and has its own song!

In November, the black-tailed godwit (grutto) was voted the Netherlands’ national bird. The Dutch-Frisian artist Syb van der Ploeg wrote a song for the king of the Dutch meadows. Also the accompanying video is very nice. Enjoy watching and listening.
