The Wader Study Group Bulletin was the principle journal of the IWSG from 1970 to 2014, when it was renamed and relaunched as the journal Wader Study. The Bulletin published peer-reviewed papers on the results of wader (shorebird) research from all parts of the world.
The Bulletin provided a key forum for wader-related news, notices, advances in study techniques, expedition reports as well as comment and debate concerning shorebird research and conservation.
It was published three times per year. The two most recent volumes are available online to paid-up IWSG members. Previous volumes can be accessed for free on this website, and on the Searchable Ornithological Research Archive (SORA).
