2010 conference: Lisbon, Portugal, 2-3 October
As you might have heard, the IWSG Annual Conference 2010 will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, hosted by the National Natural History Museum (NNHM) of the Lisbon University. The NNHM has a very rich history both within its collections and also as an historical building lying at the heart of Lisbon, and also includes a magnificent Botanical Garden.
The Conference Programme is still to be finalized, but the main sessions will take place on the Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of October 2010. Unfortunately, the number of participants will be limited to approximately 120 people so early registration is strongly recommended.
However, we will be able to organize one or two thematic workshops. We therefore ask for all potential workshop organizers to send a workshop proposal to the organizers (max. 1 page, with theme, organizer and a short summary, to jpgranadeiro(_at_)fc.ul.pt) until the 1st of March 2010. Depending on the number of proposals, the organizing committee will select one or two workshops to be held at IWSGC 2010.
